October 30th
9:00 a.m. - Halloween Breakfast
Ghosts and pumkins for little Tobe. Shouts of "Yayyy!!" ring through the apartment complex.
12:15 p.m. - Annie throws together an impromptu costume and heads to work.
5:15 p.m. - Annie picks up race packets for the Provo Halloween Half-Marathon
5:30 p.m. - Annie and Toby purchase early "Christmas" presents - new running shoes. Necessary purchases for early morning Halloween activity.
5:45 p.m. - Young Matthew puts on new hot blue and green running shoes, refusing to take them off even to change clothes.
6:30 p.m. - Annie makes chili for ward Halloween party.
7:15 p.m. - Annie and Toby, after failing to find suitable pajamas for Toby's Halloween, put together yet another impromtu costume -- sweats, a t-shirt, and kisses on the face. (Toby dubbed us jointly as "the early-morning make-out").
7:30 p.m. - Annie and Toby attend the ward Halloween party. Annie fails to win the chili cook-off. (It was rigged I tell you!).
10:00 p.m. - Bedtime and race preparations.
October 31st
5:45 a.m. - Get up and prepare to run.
6:30 a.m. - Meet Mr. Michael and Mr. Darrin Orton at shuttle pick-up spot.
7:oo a.m. - Waiting in line, determing how many bagels Toby could eat before it would effect his race time. (He ate approximately 3).
7:30 a.m. - Catch shuttle.
8:00 a.m. - Arrive at Aspen Grove (just up the canyon from Sundance) - starting point of the race.
8:15 a.m. - Annie uses the restroom -- nerves are building.
8:30 a.m. - Annie and Toby pick up race chips (device which monitors race time).
8:45 a.m. - Annie uses restroom -- nerves are still building.
8:50 a.m. - Annie and Toby watch man dressed as Bill Gates lead group of racers in yoga and aerobics.
8:55 a.m. - Annie uses restroom.
9:00 a.m. - Race begins.
10:00 a.m. - Annie and Toby wonder why they decided to run the race.
11:05 a.m. - Matthew Rex Tobler crosses the finish line. (Time: 2 hours 5 minutes).
11:17 a.m. - Andrea Jane Tobler crosses the finish line. Accomplishes goal of never stopping to walk. (Time: 2 hours 17 minutes).
11:30 a.m. - Toby and Annie go home where they spend the rest of the evening with two new best friends..... 
A truly wonderful Halloween.

Annie I seriously love this post. Your Halloween costumes are perfect and I can't believe you really ran that race! And you both did it so fast! Must've been the early morning make-out giving you an extra 'zing' :)
